Primary Care Metabolic Group (PCMG)

The Primary Care Metabolic Group (PCMG) is a national educational initiative providing comprehensive metabolic disease education. PCMG’s mission is to provide a representative forum for primary care clinicians involved in metabolic disease management and raise standards of patient care through the dissemination of best practices, education programs, and communication.

PCMG distributes metabolic disease related news articles to over 5000 PCMG members, along with information and discounts regarding upcoming medical conferences, such as, MEDS (Metabolic and Endocrine Disease Summit). The website also provides members with opportunities for free online CME credits.

PCMG is a member of the STOP Obesity Alliance and provides links to resources relevant to Primary Care Clinicians and Metabolic Disease patients.

Primary Care Respiratory Group (PCRG)

With the introduction of the Primary Care Respiratory Group (PCRG) in 2011, PCEC now maintains a national educational initiative providing comprehensive respiratory disease education.

PCRG’s mission is to provide a representative forum for primary care clinicians involved in respiratory disease management aimed at raising standards of patient care through the dissemination of best practices, education programs, and communication among its 4000 plus members. From this platform, PCMG provides current news related to Respiratory diseases, along with upcoming conferences and Continuing Education opportunities.

PCRG is the US affiliate of the International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) that represents primary care clinician respiratory organizations in 15 countries around the world.
